We had an excellent dinner here last night. Everything just right. The sportsbar idea is way off, at least off season. Surprisingly the restaurant was completely booked, an accomplishment in Fort Myers in September. I had the filet which was served on a bed of creamed spinach, sauteed tomatoes with a blue cheese sauce. Perfectly cooked and crusted with blue cheese as well. I started with the steakhouse classic lettuce wedge with bacon and blue cheese. My husband had the cowboy rib eye steak with a side of mushrooms and a side of potatoes. Word to those who are not huge eaters (like us), these sides are really to share with at least two and maybe 3 people. Our server told us this but we ordered anyway. They were delicious and we brought 2/3 of them home. Nice but small wine list. Very nice McMurray Ranch Pinot Noir. This is a steak house. Really the only good steakhouse in Fort Myers. Others serve steak on their menus and some are pretty good but a steak house puts it out there and fortunately we've found one that delivers. Please note: be prepared to spend about $100 per person. An average price for this kind of venue. Well done, Marriott.

We ate here on our last night at the Sanibel Marriott. Dinner was very good and David our server was outstanding. We had 2 fish dishes and one steak dish and all were wonderful. The view we had overlooked the tennis courts at night and although it's not waterfront it was very pleasant. The only thing that was slightly unusual was that the kitchen was short staffed and the food came out very slow. To that end the management bought us dessert and an appetizer. Very well done.

The steak is absolutely outstanding, easily one of the best steakhouses in SWFL. Service is great. Very diverse wine selection. I had the New York with the cognac sauce on the side. It comes on a searing plate and was cooked perfectly. This place is pricey but I think it is worth every penny. If they would just move this place to on the water I would call it the best restaurant in Fort Myers or Naples. Still one of my all time favorites.

Excellent food. Excellent service. I had the Courtside Salad to start, great mix of flavors. My wife had the She Crab Bisque, very good with a hint of spice. We split the 24 oz. Porterhouse, perfectly seasoned and done just right for us (medium rare). Service was really good, and we ate at the bar. Prices as you would expect with any steakhouse with all menu items a la carte. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone, great experience!

This is a part of the Sanibel Harbor Marriott and I believe at the site of the former Jimmy Conner tennis center on the property. the overall seating arrangements are a little dated but the overall decor is very nice. the food was absolutely incredible. this is a steakhouse and you should definitely have one if you go. There is a daily grouper preparation as well, unfortunately grilled is not an option. The wine menu is impressive and the cocktails are very good.

Good food, just went for apps, wine and dessert; the escargot were good, they are served on skewers over mashed potatoes

It was OK...just OK. My filet was good, but my wife's au poivre was tough and inedible. Service was very good but Marriott needs to work on the premises of which this restaurant is a part. I bet the tennis facility over which this looks was once very nice, but it's now run down, the tennis stadium is closed, the courts need repair and this is what you see while you are dining. The next time I want a nice steak in Ft. Myers, I will probably choose a different restaurant.

The steak Diane was delicious. My wife had the barolo short rib paportelli. Hers was tasteless. I think the chef forgot the barolo. The chocolate cappuccino cake made it all better, though. Pauli, our waiter, was friendly and attentive. He earned the 20% tip. R.J. was very nice as well.

I went on a last minute vacation to Florida in December. I've been to the Sanibel Harbour Resort many years ago so decided to try it again as a safe bet. The weather was just a bit too cold (60's in the day and 40's at night) to really enjoy. We did decide that we would at least try to eat well. So we made reservations at the Courtside Steakhouse and walked over there from the hotel. You have to walk over a wooden bridge through some mangroves at night...don't worry it's well lit. Take an elevator up to the second floor of the Tennis court house to the Courtside Restaurant. The service was good, the food excellent, the view of an empty tennis court...ok. For appetizers I had the oyster Rockefeller plate which was good and rich with cheese. They didn't have the wine we wanted; this may be due to the shift in ownership over to Marriott (3 weeks prior to our visit) and the changeover of wine lists. We got another nice bottle which was a little pricier. The waiter charged us for the lower price of the wine we had originally ordered. For the main course, I had the chef special - steak layered with lump crab and lobster tail. The steak was cooked perfectly to a medium rare; the crab was succulent, and the lobster tail rich with flavor. A great meal to remember.

I wanted to give this place a perfect rating because I just had one of the best steaks I think in my life. The service was unbelievable (Stephanie was amazing). They don't have a kids menu - which means you're paying full pop for the little ones. They were kind enough to split the dishes for us. As I mentioned - I had a 16 oz prime rib special. It was better than perfect. Started with the Caesar salad. That was good. Others had the duck (amazing), the scallop small plate (very good) the spicy tuna role (very good. Its a good size - but Its deep fried). Full bar - huge wine selection - nice ambiance - bright and clean. So why 4 and not 5? Oysters. They were not shucked properly and a couple had broken shells. They brought a couple more out to compensate - same problem with the new ones. Pretty pricey too.

Steak of the day was one of the best I have ever had. Wasn't a lot of people there so we were a little rowdy which was fun. Sides were good as well as dessert. Would go back for sure.

Not a sports at like yelp claims... More of a fine dining establishment. Steaks are the best in swfl. And if you eat escargot it is also o e of the best I have ever had. stop by the bar and say hello to R.J. He is one of the reasons we keep going back. sighs steak Oscar is usually the go to meal for me, you do t want to miss it.. Call first for seating.

The food was good. I have no complaints specifically but for the price of dinner there were many other places I would rather have eaten (twice, at that price, lol). If you're looking for an ultra-traditional steakhouse this will work for you. If you would rather spend a bundle and get a water view at least, and some interesting, creative dishes? Go someplace else.

We called on Tuesday for a reservation on Friday for our anniversary dinner. When we arrived to an empty restaurant they told us they did not have a reservation and had a large party coming in 15 minutes and would not be able to seat us until an hour and fifteen minutes later. The staff was largely unsympathetic.

Stayed at the Marriott Sanibel Harbor Resort for business purposes and enjoyed a Thursday night dinner here. We were a large group, and were seated together furthest from the bar/entry area. We selected from a pre-fixe menu, featuring typical steakhouse fare. The food was consistently good, but not extraordinary. Service was excellent from start to finish.
